Press Releases

At the recent Intrax national conference, CEO Dennis Wong and President Marcie Schneider asked the crowd of employees to raise a hand if they had ever worked in education. A staggering number of hands shot up into the air.

It was a simple moment, but it said a lot.

The parallels between education and cultural exchange are undeniable. Both are rooted in growth, perspective, and preparing people for what comes next. And more importantly, both are powered by people who care deeply about helping others learn and succeed.

It’s with that connection in mind that Intrax announces its newest acquisition: StudyPoint.

StudyPoint is a national provider of one-on-one tutoring, SAT/ACT test prep, and college admissions support. With this addition, Intrax expands its ability to support students and families across more stages of their academic journey.

“StudyPoint aligns with our mission to deliver high-quality educational programs that prepare students to succeed as global citizens,” said Dennis Wong. “We are impressed by the quality of instruction provided by StudyPoint’s tutors and the dedication of their team, and we are excited about the benefits for our students and families.”

Founded in the late 1990s, StudyPoint has helped more than 50,000 students improve their grades and test scores through personalized instruction and proprietary curriculum. Their services span core academic subjects like math, science, and language, along with study skills for K–12 students and college admissions counseling for high school students navigating the next step.

“We’re thrilled to join the Intrax family and partner with an organization that shares our vision for delivering high-quality educational outcomes at scale,” said Greg Zumas, Co-Founder of StudyPoint. “Intrax’s platform, resources, and global perspective create powerful synergies with what we’ve built at StudyPoint over the past two decades. Together, we’re well positioned to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and deliver even better outcomes for students, families, and schools worldwide.”

StudyPoint co-founders Rich Enos and Greg Zumas will remain on the board, ensuring continuity of vision, culture, and academic quality as the company scales with Intrax. Zumas will also oversee day-to-day operations in partnership with the Intrax Executive Team.

Back at the conference, those raised hands were a reminder that Intrax has always been about learning. Whether it’s learning a new culture, developing new skills, or advancing through work experience or education, that thread runs through everything.

The addition of StudyPoint builds on that foundation. It expands how Intrax supports that journey, creating more opportunities for students to grow, improve, and prepare for what comes next.

Different paths, same purpose. Helping students move forward.
