A new season of Out of Office is here, and this time the journey takes us to Chicago.

Chicago’s iconic “Bean” reflects the city’s beautiful skyline.

In two new episodes, Intrax CEO Dennis Wong travels through the city in the Intrax RV to meet international teachers participating in the Intrax Education program and learn more about the lives they are building in the United States.

Throughout the season, we spend time with teachers both at home and in the classroom, hearing what inspired them to become educators, what brought them to the U.S., and what they hope to share with their students. Some have made the journey with their families, creating an experience that extends far beyond the school day and into everyday life in a new country.

We also visit Chicago public schools and hear from principals and school leaders about the impact international educators can have on a school community. Along with their teaching experience, these educators bring different perspectives, cultures, traditions, and life experiences into their classrooms, creating opportunities for students and colleagues to see the world in new ways.

This season also captures Chicago at one of its most colorful times of year. Filmed during the week of St. Patrick’s Day, the city’s celebrations, including the famous green Chicago River, provide a vibrant backdrop as Dennis makes his way from homes to schools and across the city.

And what better way to wrap up the trip than by bringing everyone together? Dennis closes out the Chicago adventure with a big barbecue feast, gathering the teachers for a celebratory meal and one final chance to share stories, laughs, and reflect on the experience.

It’s a fitting conclusion to a season built around connection, community, and the people who bring cultural exchange to life every day.

The new season of Out of Office offers a closer look at what international education can mean for the teachers, families, students, and communities who take part in it.
