Privacy notice to job applicants

The purpose of this Job Applicant Privacy Notice (“Notice”) is to inform individuals who inquire about and/or apply for employment (“you” or “Job Candidates”) with International Training & Exchange, Inc. and Ayusa (the “Company”, or “we” or “us”) of the categories of personal information we collect and the purposes for which we use and disclose such personal information for employment consideration.

This Notice is intended to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2020, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2023, effective January 1, 2023 (collectively “CPRA”) and applies to Job Candidates inside and outside California.

1. Categories of Personal Information

This section sets forth the categories of “personal information” (as such term is defined under the CPRA) we may collect about you when you inquire about and/or apply for employment with the Company. The categories of Personal Information that we collect includes, but is not limited to:

  • Your name, postal address, email address, telephone number or other similar identifiers.
  • Your qualifications (such as education, training, work experience), skill sets and any other information you listed on your resume.
  • Professional or employment-related information, such as current or past job history, or performance evaluations.
  • Non-public education information, such as education records maintained by an educational institution.
  • Personal information collected and analyzed concerning an individual’s health, such as your vaccination record.

2. Sources of Personal Information

We collect personal information about you from a variety of sources, including:

  • information you provide to us directly.
  • information from public sources (such as public social media profiles on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook).
  • information from other third parties (such as prior employers, professional references, pre-employment and background check services.)

We may combine information that we receive from the various sources described in this Notice, including third party sources and public sources, and use or disclose it for the purposes set forth in this Notice.

3. How We Use Your Personal Information

We may use or disclose personal information we collect for one or more of the following business purposes:

  • to open and maintain candidate records and communicate with you regarding your interest in a job opportunity with us, your application for employment, or updates on your candidacy.
  • to assess your suitability for a position at The Company.
  • to determine your eligibility to work and fulfill our obligations to relevant government authorities.
  • to conduct equal opportunity and diversity monitoring where permitted or required by law.
  • to comply with applicable legal and regulatory requests and obligations (including investigations).
  • to establish or defend legal claims and allegations.
  • to seek advice from lawyers, auditors and other professional advisers. We will not collect any additional categories of personal information or use the personal information we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without providing you notice.

4. Sell of Personal Information

We do not sell (as such term is defined under the CPRA) your personal information to third parties. This means that we do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties in exchange for monetary or other valuable consideration.

5. How long we retain your personal information

Your personal information will only be stored as long as the purpose for which it is kept exists and as long as permitted or required under local law. This means that your Personal Information will be stored for 6 months after the recruitment process is finished. Your application could potentially be retained for 24 months after the recruitment process is finished, if allowed or required under local laws with the purpose to resolve any disputes relating to potential claims of discrimination. Your personal information will be stored in a range of different access-controlled places, including the HR management systems and on other IT systems (including email).

6. Your California Rights under the CPRA

Subject to certain legal exceptions, the CPRA provides California residents with specific rights regarding their personal information. This section describes your CPRA rights and explains how to exercise those rights.

6.1     Right to Know

Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information (the “right to know”). Once we receive your request and confirm your identity, we will disclose to you:

  1. The categories of personal information we collected about you.
  2. The categories of sources for the personal information we collected about you.
  3. Our business or commercial purpose for collecting that personal information.
6.2   Right to Delete

Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to request that wedelete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained.

6.3   Right to Correct

Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to correct inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you.

7. How to Exercise your CPRA Rights

8. Response Timing and Format

We will confirm receipt of your request within ten (10) business days. We will respond to your request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt.

9. Non-discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CPRA rights.

10. Updates

We may amend thisNotice from time to time.When we do, we will publishthe updated privacy notice on www.intraxinc.com/careers.
