Marketing Coordinator (Part-Time)

AYUSA is seeking a part-time, Marketing Coordinator with experience in online marketing, social media, writing, and design.  The ideal candidate will feel comfortable managing various aspects of business-to-customer marketing with the end goal of recruiting volunteer host families to host exchange students.  Creativity, flexibility, and a desire to learn about all aspects of high school foreign exchange programs are essential to this role.


Manage all online marketing for recruitment of host families, including display and PPC ads (Google AdWords) and email campaigns (Marketo and Mail chimp)
Evaluate search marketing (SEO/SEM) performance and opportunities
Manage online brand and social media presence (Facebook and Instagram) and develop new ideas to engage host families, students, and local representatives online
Manage official website, including writing blog posts and other new content
Create motivating internal emails and incentive programs for AYUSA's local representative
Use analytics reporting to determine effectiveness of the above marketing efforts and recommend improvements
Manage and review entries for student contests
Design printed marketing and operational collateral (flyers, brochures, handbooks)
Manage Student Ambassador volunteer program
Other tasks related to marketing as needed


Ability to think strategically and analytically
Very strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, on budget and before deadline
Ability to work independently and make decisions
An interest in international education and exchange
Strong writing and communication skills

Desired Skills:

Extensive experience with Salesforce
Experience with e-marketing, including Marketo, Mail chimp, or similar tools
Experience with Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Drupal, or similar tools
Experience with Search Engine Optimization or MOZ SEO tracking
Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills
Design skills (preferably with Adobe Creative Suite)

This position is slated for 80% time or 28 hours per week.
